Payment, Refund, Warranty, and Exchange Terms & Conditions

General terms and conditions for customers of Craft Desk Technical Works, a technical solutions company based in UAE – DUBAI.

1. Payment Term

1.1. Prices for projects outlined in the Project Quotation are inclusive of value-added taxes (VAT). The VAT shall be borne by the Client. An upfront payment corresponding to the agreed value with the technician is required from the Client to initiate the project. Project commencement is contingent upon settlement of the upfront payment.
1.2. Craft Desk Technical Works, a leading provider of technical solutions, commits to project delivery within the agreed time frame specified in the contract.
1.3. As per Clauses 1.1, 1.2, and 2.1 below, the project becomes binding between Craft Desk Technical Works and the Client upon contract signature from both parties and settlement of the upfront payment.

2. Cancellation of Project

2.1. Craft Desk Technical Works reserves the right to cancel the project if the Client fails to respond to our technicians within 14 days from the Project Confirmation date, even after completing the upfront payment.
2.2. Should the Client decide to cancel the project within 24 hours from the Project Confirmation date, Craft Desk Technical Works will refund the Client’s payment, excluding credit card bank charges (2.05%).
2.3. Cancellations, exchanges, or returns by the Client will not be accepted for customized goods (e.g., specialized equipment, tailored tools) labeled as “Special Order/s”.
2.4. Craft Desk Technical Works shall not be held responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, or carriers.

3. Warranties

3.1 Craft Desk Technical Works provides a 1 (one) year warranty against any defects arising from the project.
3.2 Warranty becomes void if defects are rectified by other entities or non-genuine parts are utilized for repairs.

Force Majeure

Force Majeure encompasses unforeseeable events such as natural disasters, government actions, conflicts, labor disputes, pandemics, and other extraordinary circumstances.

Neither Party shall be liable for non-performance due to Force Majeure events.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. Disputes arising from these terms will be under the jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts.
